$5K to Good Neighbor

You, or somebody you know, may very well be a candidate for the 2022 New Hampshire REALTORS Good Neighbor Award.

CRITERIA HERE

We get it. Nobody does the selfless work of a volunteer for the attention or accolades. However, what if we told you that along with that little bit of attention comes a check — as much as a $5,000 check, in fact — to the volunteer organization?

For most such organizations, $5,000 can do a whole lot of good.

So with that in mind, please consider nominating someone — yes, it can even be you — to become this year's winner.

The Good Neighbor Award is NHAR's way of honoring its members who best exemplify the lofty ideals of the REALTOR Code of Ethics, with exceptional volunteer service outside of the scope of the business world.

Last year, Eric Parker of LE Parker Properties in Swanzey was presented the award for his tireless work on behalf of the Monadnock Humane Society.

Good Neighbor recognizes the efforts of New Hampshire REALTORS who are making exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their communities. In addition to the $5,000 for his or her charity, the winner receives:

  • A ceremony at the recipient's charity of choice.
  • Coverage for that charity in the local media and NHAR.org.
  • A prestigious Good Neighbor crystal award.
  • Use of the Good Neighbor Award logo on his or her website and promotional materials.

Applications for the 2022 Good Neighbor Award program are due by Friday, June 10. To nominate a Good Neighbor, download the application by clicking here. To see the Good Neighbor Award criteria, click here.

"Amidst the sea of change to which the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has played witness in its 85 years, one thing that has remained constant is the Realtor 'R' and the value we bring to every real estate transaction in which we take part. We are part of a unique community where our familial cooperation transcends our business competition. These are not mere platitudes, but our living ideals, and they are, in fact, the foundation on which we conduct ourselves in our day-to-day affairs."

Susan Cole, 2025 President, New Hampshire REALTORS
