Green Symposium

Energy efficiency and renewable energy are becoming an established part of the conversation regarding real estate transactions, and that trend is only growing. That said, Realtors need to be fully informed in this ever-emerging field or risk being left behind when it comes to earning the trust of buyers and sellers.

The New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® Sustainability Working Group will host a day-long, four-credit Green Symposium – Jan. 29, 2020 at the Courtyard Marriott Grappone Conference Center in Concord – that will give attendees the tools needed to provide buyers and sellers with essential knowledge in this area of the industry.

The $89 fee includes lunch, four credit hours and a tour of the LEED-certified Grappone Conference Center.

The expert-packed event will provide a range of critical information, from the basics of solar (rent or own?) and green features on the MLS, to more nuanced sessions on public policy, tax credits and financing. The education will culminate with a case study (two credits pending) of a home purchased by a green-conscious buyer client, audited by a certified energy contractor, retrofitted for energy efficiency and listed for sale.

We look forward to seeing you there!

"Amidst the sea of change to which the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has played witness in its 85 years, one thing that has remained constant is the Realtor 'R' and the value we bring to every real estate transaction in which we take part. We are part of a unique community where our familial cooperation transcends our business competition. These are not mere platitudes, but our living ideals, and they are, in fact, the foundation on which we conduct ourselves in our day-to-day affairs."
