Resources

Established in 1933, the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® is the Voice for Real Estate in New Hampshire. The resources available to its members include: NH REALTOR® magazine The official publication of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® made its 52-page debut to rave reviews in September 2017, with a wide range of features, news items and columns. It is published quarterly and direct mailed to all of New Hampshire's 6,000 REALTORS®, as well as 700 affiliate members and assorted other businesses and lawmakers in the state. It is available in a fully-linked digital version as well. Risk Management NHAR annually hosts an all-day Professional Standards Workshop, in addition to its highly acclaimed REALTORS® in the Crossfire program, both designed to address the needs of all members, incorporating ethics, good business practices and the Internet in today's market. Networking NHAR will host its 57th annual Conference at the Courtyard Marriott in Concord on September 20, 2018, including renowned speakers and a real estate trade show, all in a setting that provides members with non-stop networking and learning opportunities. Similar networking opportunities will be available this year at an NHAR technology conference, scheduled for June 22, 2018, at the Sherator Harborside in Portsmouth. Legislative Advocacy NHAR represents the property ownership rights of its members and consumers through direct involvement in the legislative session. Each year, NHAR members monitor, testify and offer amendments to bills that could affect the livelihood of property owners and our members, and continually conveys the relevance of such legislation to its members. Education In addition to several leadership training programs, NHAR hosts at least two National Association of REALTORS® designation and/or certification courses per year. The next such classes are the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) course at the Courtyard Marriott in Concord, April 9-11, 2018, and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) course at Portsmouth Harbor Events, April 30 to May 1, 2018. Legal Resources In addition to a thriving ombuds program to help resolve potential disputes at early stages, the NHAR Legal Resource Line is available to members at NHAR.org 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Members can view over 1,000 questions and answers in the searchable Legal Resource Line FAQ online database. Standard Forms NHAR works with both ZipLogix and Dotloop, the two providers of the approved electronic version of the NHAR standard forms for listing and selling property in New Hampshire. Forms are updated in compliance with the rules of the NH Real Estate Commission. Prescription Drug Program NHAR partners with CVS Caremark to provide members and their families with a “no-fee” prescription drug plan (RxSavingsPlus) to save on prescriptions — even for those with insurance. Communications NHAR provides its members with comprehensive monthly and quarterly data reports and regular bulletins regarding New Hampshire REALTORS® news and events. It also works to enhance the public perception of all members with the production of an annual statewide image campaign.

Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers

The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) annual Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers serves as a critical resource for some of the top-producing REALTORS as a means of tracking the behaviors of home buyers and sellers nationally.

NHAR provides it here, for free, with the bonus of a New Hampshire oversample to the report, comparing how the tendencies of this state's buyers and sellers stack up with those from around the country.

"Amidst the sea of change to which the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has played witness in its 85 years, one thing that has remained constant is the Realtor 'R' and the value we bring to every real estate transaction in which we take part. We are part of a unique community where our familial cooperation transcends our business competition. These are not mere platitudes, but our living ideals, and they are, in fact, the foundation on which we conduct ourselves in our day-to-day affairs."

Susan Cole, 2025 President, New Hampshire REALTORS
